Fullness of Joy

I don't know about you, but scrolling social media or reading the headlines leaves me feeling a bit hopeless these days. There's no doubt that the world is broken, and we're feeling the brokenness in more ways than we dare to count as the days go by.

Honestly, I don't think I could handle 2020 without Jesus. It's just too much to bear. But with God, there's hope and life and the assurance that though things are very, very bad in the world, they are very, very good in the presence of the Lord.

So let's be women who spend more time in the Word than we do on social media, bringers of hope rather than bearers of bad news, and encouragers instead of complainers. The world will be a better place because of it, I promise.

The promise of the gospel is not that I would never face trouble or hardship in this life, but that when those troubles come my way, I do not face them alone.
